Corona virus has been a thought of concern for everyone.
Everyone is worried about boosting their immunity system to fight off the corona virus that has claimed more than lakhs of lives across the globe in the past few months.
While it is crucial to mention hygiene standards like washing your hands frequently, especially if you have travelled by public transport.   1. Yogurt is a natural probiotic and aids in the formation of good bacteria in our body. Remember, it has to be freshly made. If you have sore throat regardless of the cause, yogurt might worsen it but for better immunity, you need probiotics so you can resort to supplements.
  2. Limit your fat intake : WHO recommends limiting total fat intake to less than 30% of total energy intake, of which no more than 10% should come from saturated fat. To achieve this, opt for cooking methods that require less or no fat, such as steaming, grilling or sautéing instead of frying foods.
  3. Only fresh fruits and veggies which have just arrived in the market should be purchased. Articles lying in the stores for days are likely to have come in contact with more and more people.
  4. Ginger is one of the best foods for relief. Because inflammation can affect your body's immune response, anti-inflammatory ginger can play a key role in boosting your immunity.
  5. Vitamin D: Research shows vitamin D supplementation may reduce the risk for viral infections, including respiratory tract infections, by reducing production of proinflammatory compounds in the body.
  6. Turmeric has curcumin , which helps in the production of T-cells that helps to keep the immune system strong.
